Measure yourself 

1. Get a tape measure.
2. Lay your favorite top or dress on a table.
3. Measure on the front from armpit to armpit (for pit to pit measurement).
4. Measure your inseam for pants.
5. Measure your waist for pants and skirts.
6. And probably just go ahead and measure your shoulder width to be safe.
